Three Formats, One Consistent Practice
Whether you need a short preparation session before a specific conversation or an ongoing advisory relationship, Quintry offers a format proportionate to your situation.
← Back to HomeThe Forum Approach
Every Quintry engagement follows the same underlying structure — the forum format — regardless of its length or scope. This means that even the shortest engagement (the Conversation Note) applies the same rigour of preparation and written output as the nine-month retainer.
The forum format has five points: preparation, structured conversation, written record, review, and iteration. In a Conversation Note, the iteration point is handled through a follow-up availability window. In a retainer, it is built into the monthly review cadence.
Preparation
Scoping conversation and background briefing before the session.
Structured Session
Facilitated conversation or workshop with a defined agenda.
Written Record
Note, reference document, or memo produced within agreed timeframe.
Review & Iteration
Follow-up availability or structured review cadence, depending on format.
Cross-Cultural Conversation Note
A short engagement for Malaysian companies preparing for a significant working conversation across cultural or regional lines — a new ASEAN partner, a new international client, or a multi-language team event. - Initial scoping call (30 minutes)
- Structured pre-conversation session with relevant team members
- Written reflection note (language, tone, meeting cadence)

Cross-Cultural Advisory Retainer

The cadence is monthly written reviews, fortnightly calls, and one in-person workshop per quarter. The remit covers general operational practice and internal communication design — with a focus on building the team's own cross-cultural working capacity.

- One in-person workshop per quarter

Standards Applied Across All Engagements
These practices apply to every engagement, regardless of format or duration.
Client Confidentiality
All session content and written materials are treated as confidential. Quintry does not reference client engagements in any public or marketing context.
Scoped Before Start
Every engagement begins with a written scoping document. Both parties agree on the scope, deliverables, and cadence before any session is held.
Educational in Nature
All sessions are conducted as educational practice — not interpretation, translation, or cultural mediation. This distinction defines the scope of every engagement.
PDPA Compliance
Client data handling complies with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Data is collected only as necessary and not retained beyond its stated purpose.
Timely Written Delivery
Written deliverables are produced and delivered within the agreed timeframe for each engagement format. For the Conversation Note, this is two working days from session completion.
Practice Review Cycle
Quintry's advisory methodology is reviewed quarterly by the practice team to ensure it remains current with the working environments our clients operate in.
